Oregano Bread, Step by Step

Ingredients:
4 cups/500g Flour
1.1 oz/40g Sugar
1 Tbsp/10g dry Yeast
200 mL Water
1 Egg Room Temperature
5 oz/140g Whole Milk Yogurt
0.5 oz/ 15g Dried Oregano
25mL Olive Oil
1 Tbsp/16g Salt
3.5 oz/100g Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Method

Notes

Steps:
1-In a large bowl combine flour, sugar and yeast
2-Add the water and the egg and mix
3-Add the yogurt
4-Combine the Olive oil and the Oregano and add them to the mixture
5-Add the salt and the Mozzarella Cheese
6-Mix the ingredients with a spoon until all are well combined
7-Work the dough, knead until the dough becomes smooth
8-Cover the dough to rest for 30 minutes
9-Knock the dough to remove pockets of air
10-Stretch, roll, and shape the dough
11-Score the dough
12-Place it to proof in room temperature for 1.5 hour
13-Bake at 390 F°/200 C°200 for 40 minutes
14-Let it cool on a wire rack until it reaches room temperature
